About the artist

I make most of my water colour illustrations in a pittoresque and beautiful fishing village in West Cork, Ireland, where we have our Irish home. But my inspiration also comes from my homeland Sweden, the Baltic Sea and the west coast of Scandinavia.

I'm a marine biologist, a PhD researcher, and I want to bring forward the science, and passion I have for whales and other aquatic animals through my art. I hope that the scientific illustrations I make on my spare time will spread knowledge and inspiration about the fantastic creatures and beasts that inhabit our waters.
