Original water colour painting on high quality water colour paper, 30x40cm.

Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), renowned for their intelligence and social nature, inhabit warm and temperate seas globally in organized groups known as pods. They communicate using a sophisticated set of clicks and whistles and are known for their agile and fast swimming abilities, reaching speeds over 30 km/h. Echolocation, a remarkable sonar system involving emitted clicks, aids in navigation and prey location, often employed in cooperative hunting. Female bottlenose dolphins have a gestation period of approximately one year, giving birth to single calves and displaying attentive maternal care. With a lifespan of 40 to 50 years, these marine mammals face conservation challenges, such as pollution and accidental entanglement in fishing gear.

The water colour original paintings are sent in individual paper tubes, and wrapped in silk paper to protect the painting and make sure that it stays in great condition during shipment.
